Full/Part Time: Full Time
Primary Job Duties: This position will be responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance of Vmware vSphere, Windows Active Directory, and PCI-DSS compliant environments. This includes designing, installing and maintaining local and remote network infrastructure, allowing for administration of equipment at remote sites across Western Kansas. This position also provides end-user support of hardware and various software systems and will be responsible for maintenance and upgrading of PCs, servers, and various other peripherals. This position primarily deals with Windows (servers and workstations) but will also require some Linux, Mac OS, or other operating system familiarity.
Skills: Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferred in an I.T. related field. A+ Certification and Network+ Certification or equivalent would be beneficial.
Experience: Two or more years of technical experience and basic network (TCP/IP) skills. A qualified candidate must be a self-starter, self-reliant, resourceful, and able and willing to continually learn and adapt to new technologies. The ability to work both cooperatively as part of a group as well as in unsupervised conditions is desirable. Experience with installing/maintaining Windows servers, managing an Active Directory infrastructure, and administering VMware vSphere and VMware hosts is desired.
Willing to train on broadcast equipment, master control operations, remote productions and transmitter repair/maintenance.
